As part of their World Cup preparations, Argentina will play matches against Venezuela and Ecuador in September

(Web Desk): A senior official of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) has confirmed that Lionel Messi will lead Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
After a seven-month break, Lionel Messi returned to the national team and featured in matches against Chile and Colombia. His impressive form also continues at the club level.
As part of their World Cup preparations, Argentina will play matches against Venezuela and Ecuador in September.
Meanwhile, the Argentine Football Association has announced a new partnership with Lulu Financial Holdings in Dubai. Under this partnership, several fan engagement activities will be organized across the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia.
Argentina’s head coach Lionel Scaloni also attended the event and expressed interest in the possibility of holding training sessions in Dubai in the future.
