Gujranwala: In an unfortunate incident, four people were killed while eight others sustained injuries in a collision between a van and a truck near Sabzi Mandi in Gujranwala on Sunday.

According to details, the accident occurred when the over-speeding passenger van rammed into a truck that was coming from the opposite direction, injuring eight people, including women and children.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
Investigations regarding the exact cause of the accident were underway, after which legal procedures will take place.
Several people of the injured were in critical condition.
