All matters concerning Asia Cup have been resolved and tournament schedule is expected to be released within next 24 to 48 hours

Lahore: Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi has officially announced the schedule for the Asia Cup Cricket Tournament 2025.
According to a cricket website report, all matters concerning the Asia Cup have been resolved, and the tournament schedule is expected to be released within the next 24 to 48 hours.
During a recent ACC meeting, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had requested additional time to finalize the schedule.
As per the cricket website, a total of eight teams will participate in the Asia Cup 2025. The proposed window for the tournament is from September 9 to 28, with an initial announcement of the schedule expected today.

The report adds that minor adjustments may still occur in the proposed schedule. Currently, matches are planned to be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
In a post on X, he said: “I am delighted to confirm the dates for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 in UAE. The prestigious tournament will take place from September 9th to 28th. We look forward to a spectacular display of cricket! Detailed schedule will be out soon.”
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman’s confirmation came after the tournament was already expected to be hosted in the UAE.
The tournament, originally scheduled to be hosted by India in September, was poised to be relocated due to logistical and political challenges, though India is expected to retain hosting rights.
