Travelers are advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel

(Web Desk): Gilgit-Baltistan government spokesperson Faizullah Firaq has announced that the Babusar-Naran Highway, which was damaged by flooding, has been restored after one week.
The GB government spokesperson said that the Babusar Highway has been reopened for one-way traffic, but travelers are advised to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel.
Faizullah Firaq added that the search operation at Babusar has been intensified. Around 15 tourists were swept away by flash floods on the highway, and the search continues for missing individuals, including a private TV anchor and her family.
According to the spokesperson, 10 people lost their lives in the flood at Thak Nala in Chilas. The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan has expressed condolences to the affected families and directed that rescue and search operations for the missing be further intensified.
It is worth noting that a week ago, after heavy rainfall in the Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan, flash floods resulted in the deaths of 10 people and the disappearance of several others who were swept away by the floodwaters.
