Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar terms US visit fruitful


(Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has stated that Pakistan has no plans to recognize Israel, and that his visit to the United States was successful in every aspect.
He emphasized to the US Secretary of State that peace in the region is not possible without dialogue.
Addressing a press conference in New York, Ishaq Dar reiterated that Pakistan has no intention of recognizing Israel and that he highlighted the issue of Kashmir alongside Palestine at every opportunity.
He said the US visit was fruitful, and during talks with the US Secretary of State, matters related to trade and tariffs were discussed. Dar added that if dialogue with India takes place, it will be comprehensive, and Pakistan is ready for composite dialogue whenever India is willing. He also asserted that India cannot unilaterally revoke the Indus Waters Treaty.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the International Conference on Palestine.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the meeting reaffirmed commitments to strengthen bilateral ties between Pakistan and Kuwait, including cooperation in trade, security, and defense. Both leaders agreed to enhance collaboration with the United Nations and the OIC and committed to exchanging high-level delegations to further deepen relations.
