Russian airstrikes hit Ukrainian prison, 20 dead

Kyiv: Russia launched overnight attacks on Ukraine, resulting in the deaths of 20 people.

According to Ukrainian media, Russia carried out eight airstrikes on a prison facility in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, during which FAB bombs were dropped on the prison building.

Ukrainian officials reported that 16 people were killed and 35 others injured in the attack on the prison.

Officials further stated that on the same night, Russian attacks in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region left four people dead and several others wounded.
