Israeli forces open direct fire on hungry Palestinians waiting for food aid in Gaza

(Web Desk): Israel's brutality in Gaza shows no signs of stopping, as at least 57 Palestinians were martyred in the latest attacks — including 35 people who had gathered at aid centers in search of food.
According to Qatar-based news outlet Al Jazeera, hospital sources reported that Israeli forces opened direct fire on hungry Palestinians waiting for food aid in Gaza.
Meanwhile, Germany has also responded to the situation, stating that although there has been slight improvement in the delivery of aid to Gaza, it remains "grossly insufficient."
German government spokesperson Steffen Cornelius blamed Israel for obstructing humanitarian aid, adding that full and immediate access to aid is essential for restoring peace.
At the same time, former UN humanitarian chief Martin Griffiths has warned that air-dropping aid is a risky and limited option.
He stated that air-dropped supplies often lead to chaos, looting, and fatal incidents on the ground in Gaza. Griffiths also pointed out that a single aircraft can carry only 40 tons of goods — just one-fourth the capacity of a typical aid truck.
It is worth noting that Israel’s ongoing war has so far killed 60,332 Palestinians and injured 147,643. The humanitarian crisis in Gaza has reached catastrophic levels.
