A search and strike operation is underway in Hovid due to the presence of terrorists

(Web Desk): A drone attack on a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint in Bannu has resulted in the martyrdom of one FC personnel and injuries to three others.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Bannu, Saleem Abbas Kalachi, a quadcopter drone carried out the attack on the FC checkpoint in the Takhti Khel area of Baka Khel. One FC personnel was martyred, and three others were injured in the attack.
DPO Saleem Abbas Kalachi stated that the injured personnel have been shifted to the hospital. He added that following the incident, Frontier Corps and police launched a search operation in the area.
The DPO further said that due to an operation against terrorists in Hovid, a curfew has been imposed until further notice. A search and strike operation is underway in Hovid due to the presence of terrorists.
He mentioned that heavy forces have been deployed in the area for the operation. Residents in Hovid have been instructed not to leave their homes after 5 a.m., and citizens have been warned not to allow any suspicious individuals near them.
The DPO emphasized that strict legal action will be taken against anyone who shelters or assists terrorists, and any building from which forces are fired upon will be demolished.
