No passengers were injured


(Web Desk): Six coaches of the Jaffer Express derailed after an explosion on the railway track near Mastung.
According to railway officials, the Jaffer Express had departed from Quetta for Peshawar at 9:00 AM when a blast occurred on the track near Spizand, Mastung, just as the train was passing through.
Officials stated that although six coaches derailed due to the explosion, no passengers were injured.
It is worth mentioning that just a few days ago, another explosion occurred on the railway track in Sibi, narrowly avoiding an accident involving the Jaffer Express.
Meanwhile, in Rahim Yar Khan, three coaches of the Awam Express also derailed at the Khanpur City railway crossing.
Railway authorities reported that the train was en route from Peshawar to Karachi when the incident occurred in Khanpur. The derailed coaches were detached from the train.
Officials added that the cause of the accident is not yet known. However, rescue trains from Rohri and Samasatta have reached the site. Train traffic on the down track has been suspended due to the incident.
