ATC acquits Shah Mahmood Qureshi, sentences Yasmin Rashid, Ejaz Chaudhry to 10 years
The verdict was delivered by the ATC judge at Kot Lakhpat Jail

(Web Desk): An anti-terrorism court has announced its verdict in two cases related to the May 9 incidents, acquitting Shah Mahmood Qureshi, while sentencing Ejaz Chaudhry, Yasmin Rashid, and other accused to 10 years in prison each.
The judge of the anti-terrorism court delivered the verdict in two May 9 cases at Kot Lakhpat Jail.
The court sentenced Mian Mehmood ur Rasheed, Umar Sarfraz Cheema, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, and Ejaz Chaudhry to 10 years in prison each.
Additionally, Aliya Hamza Malik and Sanam Javed were sentenced to 5 years in prison each by the anti-terrorism court.
It is worth noting that just a few days ago, the same court had also handed down sentences to Omar Ayub, Shibli Faraz, and others in connection with May 9 arson and vandalism cases.
