Football star Ronaldo engaged to Georgina after nearly a decade

(Web Desk): After a nine-year journey of love, world-renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has finally gotten engaged to his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez.

Just yesterday, 31-year-old Georgina shared a photo with 40-year-old Ronaldo, in which her hand is placed on his, prominently displaying a large diamond ring on her finger.

In the caption, Georgina wrote: "Yes. In this life and in all my lives."

The couple has been together since 2016 after meeting at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina was working at the time.

They have two daughters together, and Georgina also helps raise Ronaldo’s other three children. Tragically, in 2022, one of their newborn twin boys passed away.

Georgina’s engagement ring features a stunning oval-cut diamond set on an elegant band.

According to Spanish media, jewelry experts estimate the diamond weighs between 10 to 15 carats, with a value ranging from $1 million to $5 million.

Some experts suggest it could be even larger — 25 to 30 carats — with its price estimated between $2 million and $5 million, depending on its clarity and design.

The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star is currently playing for Saudi club Al-Nassr.

He recently extended his contract with the team for an additional two years, which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.
