About 18,000 people and livestock have been shifted to safe places from Kasur villages


Lahore: The rescue and relief operation of the Pakistan Army is underway in the flood-affected areas of Punjab province.
According to the details, six rescue teams of the Pakistan Army mobilized, and relief activities are underway on the Sutlej and Ravi rivers.
Pakistan Army teams at Head Sulemanki and Attari are transporting victims to safe places through boats.
The army troops are engaged in relief operations along with the civil administration in flood-affected areas of Kasur.
Along with the Pakistan Army, other departments like Police, Irrigation Department, Health, Livestock, Rescue 1122, and Civil Defense are also participating in relief activities.
The Pakistan Army has established 21 rescue and relief camps in Kasur district in collaboration with the civil administration.
So far, about 18,000 people and livestock have been shifted to safe places from Kasur villages.
The Pakistan Army administrative camp was established in Mandi Ahmedabad, and shelter and facilities are being provided to the affected families.
Pakistan Army is busy providing relief to the affected people even in the high level of flood at Ganda Singh Wala.
The Pakistan Army's rescue and relief operation is also going on rapidly in Okara.
The Pakistan Army is present on the front line against the flood disasters to ensure the safety of the lives and property of the citizens.
