Sikh community pays tribute to Field Marshal for relief operations in flood-hit Kartarpur

The Sikh community paid tribute to Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir for his timely relief operations in the flood-hit Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.

Yesterday, Field Marshal Asim Munir visited the flood-hit areas of Punjab, where he also visited Sialkot, Shakargarh, Narowal, and Kartarpur. In his address on the occasion, the Field Marshal assured the early restoration of all places of worship of the Sikh community.

The Sikh community paid tribute to the Field Marshal for his timely relief operations in the flood-hit Darbar Sahib Kartarpur.

Sikh leader Ramesh Singh Arora said that he sincerely thanks Field Marshal Asim Munir for his timely relief operations. Pakistan is our land and our life. The soldiers of the Pakistan Army stood by until the last person was safely transferred.

He stated that the Field Marshal's sitting with the Sikh community has made the heads of Sikhs of the world proud. We have no words for what you did in the 24 hours after the floods. When the world comes to know that the Field Marshal himself visited Kartarpur, the respect of Sikhs will increase further.

Ramesh Singh added that Sikhs from all over the world come and say that Pakistan is the safest country for minorities.
