These panic buttons will allow women to immediately alert the police about harassment or emergencies

(Web Desk): The police in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have decided to install panic buttons across the province to prevent harassment of women.
According to the Central Police Office (CPO), the initiative will be launched in phases, with the first stage involving the installation of 68 panic buttons in Peshawar, particularly in areas where women are most likely to be present.
The CPO stated that these panic buttons will allow women to immediately alert the police about harassment or emergencies. The buttons will be connected to the police control room, and pressing the button will send the complainant's video and audio to the control room for prompt action.
In addition to benefiting women, other citizens will also be able to use this facility. The panic buttons will play a crucial role in ensuring a timely response to street crimes and other incidents.
