(Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Tianjin, China, for an official visit. The Prime Minister departed from Islamabad's Noor Khan Airbase on a special flight for the trip.
Upon arrival in Tianjin, Chinese officials warmly welcomed him. According to a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on social media, the Prime Minister will be in China from August 30 to September 4.
During his visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will address the 25th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit, where he will present Pakistan's stance on regional peace efforts, enhancing regional connectivity, and promoting the development of the people in the region.
In addition to attending the SCO Summit, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. These discussions will focus on various aspects of bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and China.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also participate in a military parade in Beijing on the 80th anniversary of the global anti-fascist war, along with President Xi and other world leaders.
The Prime Minister will also meet with prominent Chinese business leaders and corporate executives to discuss trade, the economy, and investment opportunities.
