Sources familiar with the President's travel schedule told the newspaper that Trump has no plans to visit India this year

(Web Desk): President Donald Trump has canceled his planned visit to India amid trade tensions between the two countries, according to a US newspaper.
Sources familiar with the President's travel schedule told the newspaper that Trump has no plans to visit India this year.
However, both US and Indian officials have neither confirmed nor denied the claims made by the newspaper.
Trump was scheduled to visit India later this year to attend the Quad meeting.
It is worth noting that a meeting of foreign ministers from the Quad alliance, consisting of the US, India, Japan, and Australia, took place in the US earlier this year in January.
Relations between the US and India have cooled in recent months. After India failed to finalize a trade deal with the US, President Trump imposed a 50% tariff on Indian goods. Trump has also occasionally mentioned his role in the India-Pakistan conflict, a statement India has denied.
