Earthquake tremors felt in Lahore, Islamabad, other cities

Lahore: Earthquake tremors were felt in various cities of the country, including Islamabad and Lahore.

The tremors were also felt in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar and Mardan, and in Murree.

Earthquake tremors were also felt in Chakwal, Taxila, and Wah Cantt.

According to the Seismological Center, the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded as 6. The depth of the earthquake was recorded as 15 kilometers, while the epicenter was in southeastern Afghanistan.

According to the Seismological Center, aftershocks of 4.6 magnitude were also felt in Hangu, Malakand, Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chitral, and Peshawar at 12:38am.

The earthquake spread fear and panic among the citizens, and they came out of their homes reciting the Holy verses.

No loss of life or property has been reported due to the earthquake so far.
