Each of the two small planes had two people onboard

(Web Desk): Two small single-engine planes collided mid-air near Fort Morgan Municipal Airport in the United States during flight.
According to international news agencies, the terrifying collision occurred when both planes were attempting to land on the airport runway.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) stated that each of the two small planes had two people onboard. One person was killed, and three others were seriously injured in the accident.
However, eyewitnesses and rescue officials reported that one of the injured victims succumbed to injuries during treatment at the hospital.
One of the remaining injured is said to be in critical condition, raising concerns that the death toll may rise.
Local media footage showed one of the aircraft completely destroyed near the runway, surrounded by black soot and oil stains.
Eyewitnesses described seeing black smoke and flames in the sky following the collision, after which rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.
The exact cause of the accident has yet to be determined. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched a joint investigation to conduct a full inquiry.
