Saudi FM assures Pakistan of unflinching support in meeting with Army Chief
Rawalpindi: Foreign Minister of KSA, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at Rawalpindi on Wednesday, said military’s media wing.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the two sides discussed matters of bilateral interest, evolving security situation of the region including Afghanistan Peace Process and collaboration for regional peace and connectivity.
Assuring Pakistan of unflinching support, foreign minister of KSA appreciated sincere efforts and role Pakistan played for promoting peace and stability in the region.
COAS said that the relations between KSA and Pakistan are based on bonds of brotherhood and mutual trust as both nations will continue to play their part for peace and stability, stated ISPR adding that the Army Chief thanked Saudi leadership for KSA's support to Pakistan and its Armed Forces.
