Instagram tests Picture-in-Picture feature for reels
With this feature, users will be able to watch Instagram Reels in a small window on their screen while using other apps

(Web Desk): A new feature is being introduced for Reels videos on Instagram.
The photo-sharing app, owned by Meta, is testing a Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature for viewing Reels videos.
The company has confirmed that this feature is currently being tested among a limited number of users.
With this feature, users will be able to watch Instagram Reels in a small window on their screen while using other apps.
Picture-in-Picture will allow users to watch videos while multitasking or performing other tasks.
Users who have access to this feature are being notified about it through a pop-up notification from the company.
Apps like TikTok and YouTube have supported Picture-in-Picture for quite some time.
However, Instagram is only now beginning to introduce it.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri had hinted at this feature a few months ago.
At the time, he mentioned that the feature could be launched soon.
As stated above, the feature is still in the testing phase, so it's difficult to say when it will be rolled out to all users.
