The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has sent 105 tons of relief goods, including ration bags, tents, blankets, mats, and medicines for the earthquake-affected people.
The relief supplies were transported to Afghanistan via five 40-foot container trucks through the Torkham border. The goods were dispatched from the NDMA warehouse in Islamabad on September 3rd and handed over to Afghan officials at the Torkham border on September 4th.
The handover ceremony was attended by special guest Federal Minister Aamir Muqam, Pakistan’s Consul General at Jalalabad Consulate Shafqatullah, and Afghanistan’s Consul General at Peshawar Consulate Hafiz Mohibullah Shakir.
