Mehdi Hassan’s son Asif Mehdi rushed to hospital
Asif Mehdi, the son of the legendary singer Mehdi Hassan was rushed to the hospital after his health deteriorated.

The news was confirmed by his family on Tuesday.
The ghazal singer previously had to visit the hospital for dialysis but was hospitalized when his pneumonia got worse, his family had said.
They said the playback singer is recovering at the Special Care Unit (SCU) of a private hospital and he is no longer at any risk.
Asif Mehdi’s family asked people to pray for his speedy recovery.
Asif Mehdi is the son of Mehdi Hassan, one of the most prestigious personalities in the history of ghazal singing. Mehdi Hassan was widely known as ‘Shahenshah-e-Ghazal’.
Asif Mehdi, himself is a Pakistani ghazal singer. He is well-known for reviving classical singing in Pakistan.
