Islamabad: India has released additional water into the Sutlej River. The Indian High Commission in Pakistan informed authorities about the release of water into the river.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, following India’s release of water into the Sutlej, a flood alert has been issued.
The flood alert issued by the Ministry states that high-level flooding has been reported at Harike downstream and Ferozepur downstream on the Sutlej River.
