Captains of all the teams answered questions of the journalists during press conference


Dubai: The trophy of the Asia Cup 2025, which starts today in the United Arab Emirates, was unveiled. The captains of all the teams attended the trophy unveiling ceremony.
Asian Cricket Council (ACC) President Mohsin Naqvi unveiled the trophy. On this occasion, there was a lot of excitement at the media center, while the eye contact and handshake of the Pakistan and Indian captains were the center of attention.
On this occasion, the captains of all the teams also answered the questions of the journalists during the press conference. The body language and smiles of the captains at the Asia Cup press conference became the center of attention of the media.
Pakistan team captain Salman Ali Agha, while answering questions on this occasion, said that as a team, we are ready for the Asia Cup and are very excited. This is a test for us and we will accept this challenge with full confidence.
The Pakistani captain further said that we know where the problems are and how much time it will take, but we are focusing on every point. Challenges will definitely come, but we will all enjoy the game together. We have performed well as a team and will try to do the same in the future.
Salman Ali Agha, while answering a question regarding the Pakistan-India match, stated that he has not received any specific instructions, but will just focus on his game. Pakistani players have experience playing in Dubai. No one can be called a favorite in the T20 format.
The national captain has further said: “We have played a lot of cricket here including PSL. We have an idea of the conditions of the UAE. Our goal is to perform better and set an example”.
On this occasion, Indian captain Surya Kumar Yadav has said that they are also very excited for the Asia Cup, any team in the format can perform exceptionally. ‘We are playing the T20 tournament after a long time, as a team we are fully prepared for the Asia Cup’.
The Indian captain has further said that Afghanistan has been playing good cricket, any team has the ability to win in this format. Emotions are part of the game, the player only has enthusiasm and passion.
Speaking on this occasion, Afghan cricket team captain Rashid has said that we will work hard. This tournament is important for us. We will try to perform our 100 percent. We have been unlucky in many tournaments but we can try for results.
Rashid Khan added said that we are keen to win in big tournaments. We are focusing on good cricket and not thinking about the semi-finals yet, our job is to work hard.
Speaking on this occasion, UAE captain Mohammad Wasim said that he got the opportunity to play with big players in ILT20 which has been beneficial. He has further said that he has worked hard for the Asia Cup, whether Pakistan or India will try to perform well on that day.
The captain of the Oman cricket team has said that we are playing the Asia Cup for the first time. This is a historic moment for us. We have played 3 World Cups and the preparation for the Asia Cup is good and when the preparation is good, then confidence also comes.
The captain of the Bangladesh cricket team said that the Bangladesh team played well in the last three series, the victory in the last series gave us confidence.
He further said that all the teams participating in the Asia Cup are strong, they will have to perform well to advance in the tournament.
