Murder probe launched after body found in rapper’s vehicle
Authorities have not confirmed Burke’s involvement in the case, and further investigations are ongoing

Los Angeles: Police in Los Angeles have discovered a mutilated body in the trunk of a car registered under the name of emerging American rap star David Anthony Burke.
According to details, residents in a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, alerted police after detecting a foul smell coming from a nearby house.
LAPD officer Robert Peters told reporters that the department received a call earlier in the morning. “The car had been parked there for several days. When officers arrived at the scene, they found a severely decomposed body wrapped in a plastic bag inside the trunk,” he said.
According to ABC7 News, the vehicle is registered in the name of David Anthony Burke, a rising rap artist from Texas.
It is worth mentioning that Burke was scheduled to perform on Tuesday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, as part of his ongoing world tour. The 20-year-old rapper gained fame in 2022 with his breakout hit "Romantic Homicide," which went viral on social media — particularly on TikTok.
Authorities have not confirmed Burke’s involvement in the case, and further investigations are ongoing.
