Prime Minister Imran Khan's Advisor for Institutional Reforms and Austerity Dr Ishrat Husain Thursday has resigned from his portfolio, GNN reported citing sources.

Ishrat Husain is a Pakistani banker and economist who also served as the Governor State Bank of Pakistan.
He was serving as Advisor to PM for Institutional Reforms & Austerity since August 2018.
