WhatsApp tests new threaded replies to organize group chats
The feature is expected to be especially helpful in large group chats, where multiple conversations often occur simultaneously

(Web Desk): Instant messaging app WhatsApp is testing a new feature aimed at making conversations in group chats more organized and easier to follow.
Currently, on WhatsApp, replies to a specific message appear as separate messages, which often leads to clutter and confusion—especially when multiple users respond to the same message. But with this new feature, all replies to a particular message will be grouped in a single thread, displayed directly under the original message.
So, if ten users reply to the same message, all ten responses will now appear within a single thread attached to that original message. This will make it significantly easier to follow ongoing discussions on specific topics.
The feature is expected to be especially helpful in large group chats, where multiple conversations often occur simultaneously. It will also help new participants in the group quickly understand the context of previous discussions. By clicking on a reply thread, users will be able to view all related responses in one place.
WhatsApp has currently rolled out this feature to a limited number of users for testing purposes. It is expected that the feature will soon be expanded to more users and eventually be launched for the general public.
