Quota of private Hajj operators has been set at 60,000


Islamabad: There is good news for Hajj pilgrims under the private Hajj scheme as the registration for the year 2026 has started in Pakistan.
According to the announcement, pilgrims can submit applications from today under the private Hajj scheme. 37,903 pilgrims will be able to submit Hajj applications under the private Hajj scheme.
The 22,097 pilgrims who couldn’t make it last year have also registered under the private Hajj scheme.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, private Hajj operators will give priority to last year’s pilgrims.
Private Hajj operators will give an affidavit stating that the registration of last year’s remaining pilgrims has been completed.
The announcement says that the quota of private Hajj operators has been set at 60,000.
It is also reported that 22,097 pilgrims from last year and 37,903 new applicants will be able to go for Hajj.
