‘License issuance services are being provided at the Faizabad Traffic Office, the F-6 Facilitation Center, and through mobile traffic facilitation vans’

Islamabad: The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has given citizens a deadline of October 1 to obtain their driving licenses.
Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Hamza Humayun made it clear that strict action will be taken against drivers operating vehicles without a valid license after the specified date.
He stated that from October 1 onwards, those driving a car or motorcycle without a license will face criminal charges, be arrested, and have their vehicle impounded. This action will be without exception, and no leniency will be granted regardless of the individual’s identity or status.
To facilitate citizens, the CTO said that license issuance services are being provided at the Faizabad Traffic Office, the F-6 Facilitation Center, and through mobile traffic facilitation vans.
Citizens are advised to always carry a physical copy of their driving license, as digital copies will not be accepted.
Hamza Humayun emphasized that obtaining a driving license is a sign of being a responsible and law-abiding citizen, and it helps avoid legal consequences.
He further stated that driving without a license endangers not only the driver’s life but also the lives of others, and that Islamabad Traffic Police will not allow anyone to put public safety at risk.
