Pakpattan: Water is still present in several settlements, including Jalalpur Pirwala city, affected by the floods of the Chenab and Sutlej rivers. Efforts are underway to close the crack at Nooraja Bhatta.

According to the Motorway Police, the flood-affected M5 Motorway from Multan to Jhangra Interchange remains closed for the 13th day, waiting for the water to recede for restoration.

Land erosion from the Sutlej River is ongoing in Pakpattan. The village of Soda has been completely flooded, and 50 houses in Chak Baqir have also been affected by erosion.

On the other hand, a moderate flood situation persists at the Kotri Barrage in the Indus River.

The water level has increased at Thatta Sujawal Bridge; as a result, more than 10 villages of Kachha have been submerged.

Due to the increase in water level, standing crops on several acres have also been submerged, after which the residents have taken refuge in the protective embankment.

The Kutch areas in Matiari were also affected, with residents continuing to evacuate by boats on their own. Crops were also affected as the Kutch areas of Saeedabad were submerged.
