Islamic countries should put aside their mutual differences and face common challenges, Iranian Supreme Leader said

Tehran: Major General of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps and advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, Rahim Safavi, has said that the joint defense agreement between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan is a positive development.
Talking to Iranian media, Rahim Safavi stated that it would be good if Iran also joined this agreement. Islamic countries should put aside their mutual differences and face common challenges.
He added that America’s regional influence is decreasing. It is now shifting its focus to the Asia-Pacific region, it is time for us to seriously consider the formation of a regional Islamic security bloc so that stability and sovereignty can be ensured in the region.
It is pertinent to note that a joint defense agreement has been signed between the brotherly countries Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in the past few days. The joint declaration of the agreement stated that an attack on one country will be considered an attack on the other.
On the other hand, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, speaking to the media outside the Pakistan High Commission in London, said that after Saudi Arabia, many other countries also want to sign a defense agreement.
