Survey of 48,071 acres of flood-affected land has been completed


Lahore: Following the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, a flood survey has been launched across Punjab to help flood victims.
The Punjab Chief Minister has issued instructions to the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Commissioners to support and monitor the survey teams.
1,629 teams have been mobilized for flood survey in 26 districts of Punjab, which are reaching the flood-affected areas and conducting survey work.
According to the initial report, data of 27,500 people has been collected in a few days, and the survey of 48,071 acres of flood-affected land has been completed. The flood survey teams have obtained data of 8,305 houses destroyed by the flood, while records of 1,712 livestock killed during the flood have also been collected.
The survey to estimate the loss of flood victims in Kasur will start from October 1.
