Islamabad: A varying length anti–polio drive has begun in 68 districts of the country including Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh.

During the campaign, anti-Polio vaccine drops will be administered to children less than five years age.
According to details, in Punjab at least 17,000 polio teams have been directed to administer polio drops to almost 10 million children during door to door drive.
The regions included 11 districts of Punjab, 16 districts of Balochistan and 22 districts of Sindh
Punjab districts include Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan and Rajanpur.
In Sindh, 50,000 polio workers will administer polio drops to around 7.4 million children with special focus on coastal city.
On the other hand, seven-day anti-polio vaccination campaign is underway in Peshawar.
Tight security measures have also been made for the security of polio teams.
