Pakistan destroys several Afghan posts in response to attack

Islamabad: Pakistan Army is giving an effective and befitting response to the unprovoked aggression by the Afghan forces at the Pak-Afghan border.

According to security sources, the Pakistan Army has been targeting Afghan posts with utmost precision and captured nineteen posts at the Afghan border from where attacks were carried out against Pakistan.

The Afghan Taliban at these posts have either been killed or fled from the spot. It is a major success of the Pakistan Army against the Afghan forces.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Army launched a successful strike at Durrani Camp, Manujba Camp Battalion Headquarters and Manujba Camp-2, Ghaznali Headquarters in Noshki Sector and neutralised them completely.

Dozens of Taliban soldiers and Khwarij positioned in the camps and headquarters have been reportedly killed.

The Pakistan Army has also occupied an important Afghan post in the Zhob Sector and hoisted the Pakistani flag. The Humvee armoured personnel carrier of the Afghan Taliban deployed at the post was destroyed as well in the attack. 

An Afghan Tank position deployed at the mountain peak opposite to Kurram was successfully targeted, and several tanks of the Afghan Taliban were eliminated.

The second Battalion Headquarters of the Afghan Taliban in the Brabcha area, from where Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorists were launched into Pakistan, was also targeted.

Dozens of the Afghan Taliban and Khwarij have reportedly suffered heavy losses in these strikes.

In another retaliatory action at Spin Boldak, the Pakistan Army has devastated the Afghan Taliban's most important Asmat Ullah Karar Camp in Afghanistan.

According to security sources, Asmat Ullah Karar Camp was one of the biggest camps of the Afghan Taliban from where terrorist activities against Pakistan were launched.

The sources have also provided video evidence in which the second engagement and destruction of the Afghan Taliban's Asmatullah Karar camp can be watched after the strike.

Afghan Taliban and Khawarijis, hiding in camp, have reportedly suffered heavy losses due to the destruction of this camp.

PM strongly condemns Afghan provocation in border areas
 

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned Afghanistan's provocation in Pakistan's border areas.

In a statement, the Prime Minister paid glowing tribute to Pakistan Army for its befitting and vigorous action in response to Afghanistan's provocation. He also commended the professional prowess of Pakistan Army.

Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan Army, under the brave leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, not only gave a befitting response to the Afghan provocation, but also destroyed several of their posts, forcing them to retreat.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that there will be no compromise on Pakistan's defence and every provocation will be given a befitting and effective response.

The Prime Minister said Pakistan Army has always given a befitting reply to any kind of external aggression. He made it clear that the entire nation stands with Pakistan's security forces.

He recalled that Pakistan has repeatedly shared information with Afghanistan about presence of terrorist elements like Fitna-al-Khwarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan, who launch attacks against Pakistan from the Afghan soil.

Shehbaz Sharif said terrorist organizations are backed by the elements, present in Afghanistan. Pakistan expects that the interim Afghan government will ensure that its territory is not used by terrorist elements against Pakistan.

FO rejects India-Afghan joint statement, Afghan AFM remarks
 

Pakistan has raised its concerns on the elements of India-Afghanistan Joint Statement and remarks by the Afghan Acting Foreign Minister in India.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad expressed Pakistan's strong reservations on the elements of the India-Afghanistan Joint Statement, issued on Friday in New Delhi, were conveyed to Afghanistan's Ambassador to Pakistan by the Additional Foreign Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

It was conveyed to the Afghan Ambassador that the reference to Jammu and Kashmir as part of India is in clear violation of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the legal status of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Joint Statement of India-Afghanistan is highly insensitive to the sacrifices and sentiments of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for the right to self-determination.

The Foreign Office statement further said that Pakistan also strongly rejected the Afghan Acting Foreign Minister's assertion that terrorism is Pakistan's internal problem.

Pakistan has repeatedly shared details regarding the presence of Fitna-al-Khawarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan terrorist elements operating from Afghan soil against Pakistan with support from elements within Afghanistan.
