New feature of Gemini AI introduced in Google Maps
Users can now tell Gemini not to suggest routes that do not require toll tax

Google is working hard to replace Google Assistant with Gemini AI assistant in its various services and apps.
According to a report by Android Authority, this change has been seen in the new beta version of the Google Maps app. The new Gemini assistant has been added to this beta version.
Upon enabling it, Gemini responds instead of Google Assistant when the user clicks on the microphone icon in the upper right corner of the navigation interface.
Initially, the microphone icon will be the same color as Google Assistant, but when it is clicked, Gemini's spark icon will turn on. Gemini will be able to do things for navigation that Google Assistant cannot.
According to the report, users can now tell Gemini not to suggest routes that do not require toll tax and then it will do so automatically. You can also ask it questions beyond navigation, such as getting weather information.
According to the report, this change to Google Maps is not available to all users, but it could be introduced in the near future.
