Former Pakistan Test cricketer Wazir Mohammad has passed away in the United Kingdom.
Confirming the news, his nephew Shoaib Mohammad said that Wazir Mohammad passed away today in Birmingham at the age of 95.
Wazir Mohammad was a member of Pakistan’s squad that toured India in 1952, where he made his Test debut for the national team.
Over his career, Wazir Mohammad represented Pakistan in 20 Test matches, scoring 801 runs, including two centuries and three half-centuries.
He was the brother of legendary cricketers Hanif Mohammad and Mushtaq Mohammad, both of whom also represented Pakistan in Test cricket.
