Exams scheduled on the above dates, will be rescheduled later


Karachi: The Sindh government has announced two-day holidays on October 20 and 21 on the occasion of the religious festival of the Hindu community, Diwali.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Services, General Administration and Coordination, these holidays will be only for employees of the Hindu community working in government departments.
The Sindh government notification states that Hindu employees of all government, semi-government, autonomous, and local government institutions will celebrate Diwali with their families on Monday and Tuesday.
The notification further states that if any university, college or school exams are scheduled on the above dates, they will be rescheduled later. Copies of the notification have been sent to various government departments and institutions.
