Islamabad: Pakistan Army foiled attacks by Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij in Spin Boldak, killing 20 Taliban.
According to security sources, the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij attacked three locations in the early hours of the morning. However, the Pakistan Army’s counter-attack forced the Afghan Taliban to retreat, while 15 to 20 Afghan Taliban were killed in the Pakistan Army’s operation.
Security sources say that the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists are using villages and innocent people as shields. Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists blew up the Pak-Afghan Friendship Gate on their side. Security sources say that information is also being received about more Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij gathering in Chaman Spin Boldak.
According to security sources, the Pakistan Army also foiled an attempt by Fitna al-Khawarij and Afghan Taliban to attack the Kurram sector last night and destroyed 8 posts and 6 tanks of Afghan Taliban along with their crews in the counter-attack.
Security sources further said that the Pakistan Army killed several terrorists in the Kurram sector and seized American-made weapons. After the befitting reply by the Pakistan Army, there is currently silence in the Kurram sector.
