Sindh decides to covert Karachi grounds into drive-thru vaccination centers
Karachi: In order to curb the spread of coronavirus, the Sindh government has decided to convert open grounds into drive-thru vaccination centres.

According to sources, the cricket and football grounds in Korangi, South, Central, East, Malir, Kemari, and West will be converted into drive-thru vaccination centers.
Sources added that Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has instructed all Deputy Commissioners to identify grounds and convert them into vaccination centers at earliest.
The Deputy Commissioners have been given a deadline of 48 hours to complete the task.
On the other hand, Sindh government has administered record 222,498 vaccinations in a day across Sindh. Out of the vaccinated, 80% are residents of Karachi.
It is pertinent to mention here that coronavirus vaccine program is underway in Sindh with full swing after the province reported a sharp surge in coronavirus cases.
