After arrest, PML-N stalwart Attaullah Tarar released
Daska: After arresting for a couple of minutes, Punjab Police on Friday has released Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Deputy Secretary General Attaullah Tarar.
According to the details, Mr Tarar was arrested during the election campaign for up-coming NA-75by-election to be held in Daska. On the other hand, PML-N information secretary Maryam Aurangzeb strongly condemned the arrest and asked the government to release Mr Tarar as soon as possible.
After the news flashed, Mr Tarar was immediately released by Daska police.
The PML-N is going to hold a rally in Sialkot on Saturday. Maryam Nawaz will address her party’s supporters there.
The government and PML-N have made different claims on the episode, with the former terming it voluntary detention and the former said that Tarar was arrested.
