CJCSC calls on Saudi Armed Forces Chief of General Staff

Web Desk: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed the resolve to further deepen their strong brotherly ties and enduring defence partnership.
The affirmation came during meeting between Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza and Chief of General Staff of Saudi Armed Forces General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili in Saudi Arabia.
Both sides discussed evolving global and regional environment and avenues for enhancing bilateral defence cooperation.
The Saudi military leadership lauded professionalism of Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their sacrifices in fight against terrorism.
In recognition of his significant contributions in deepening Pak-Saudi relationship in particular the military to military ties, General Sahir Shamshad Mirza was conferred with the 'King Abdulaziz Medal of Honour of the Excellent Class'.
