Rawalpindi: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf has successfully concluded his official visit to Bangladesh, during which he held meetings with senior military and defense officials. Discussions focused on matters of mutual interest, regional maritime security, and enhancing defense cooperation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), both countries reaffirmed their commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region. Admiral Ashraf also visited the National Defence College (NDC) Bangladesh, where he met with the President of NDC and faculty members.

As per ISPR, the Pakistan Navy ship PNS Saif also visited Chattogram Port during the trip. The Naval Chief held meetings with the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Chiefs, and visited the Bangladesh Naval Academy, where he met with the Commandant and instructors.
During his visit to the Naval Academy, Admiral Ashraf praised the training standards and emphasized the importance of academic and professional collaboration. He highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation in education and training and to promote modern maritime sciences.
A reception was also hosted in honor of the Naval Chief. According to the spokesperson, Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s visit will further strengthen naval relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
