The new diesel price stands as Rs284.44 per litre, petrol price remains as 265.45 per litre

The federal government has maintained the price of petrol and increased the price of diesel by Rs6 per litre for the next 15 days.
With this hike, the new diesel price stands as Rs284.44 per litre. The petrol price remains as 265.45 per litre.
The government on Saturday issued a notification with regard to the new rate of the diesel, enforcing the new rates immediately.
The Government has revised the prices of the petroleum products following input from the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the relevant Ministries. The new prices for the next fortnight starting from 16th November 2025 are as shared below pic.twitter.com/pG6KsOEU4g

Earlier, it was expected that petroleum prices in Pakistan will be increased by up to Rs9.60 during the upcoming fortnightly review for November 2025.
The anticipated price hike was largely attributed to a reduction in diesel production in the Gulf region, caused by ongoing maintenance at a major oil refinery in Kuwait.
Meanwhile, oil prices jumped about 2 percent in international market on Friday on supply fears after a Ukrainian drone attack hit an oil depot in the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, a major export hub.
Brent crude futures rose $1.24, or 1.97%, to $64.25 a barrel by 0315 GMT, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose $1.25, or 2.13%, to $59.94 a barrel.
The attack early on Friday damaged a ship in port, apartment buildings and an oil depot in the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, injuring three crew members of the vessel, Russian officials said.
