Field Marshal warns against bid to impose war, recalls response given in May
when a Muslim places complete trust in Allah, even the dust he throws becomes a missile against the enemy:Army chief

Islamabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that those who impose war on Pakistan will be given the same response as they were in May.
During an informal conversation with the media at Aiwan-e-Sadr, on the occasion of a luncheon hosted in honor of Jordan’s King Abdullah II, the Field Marshal said that God granted Pakistan success in its conflict with India.
He stated that Pakistan is a peace-loving country, but anyone who imposes war will be responded to in the same manner as before. “I perform my duties in accordance with the command of Allah,” he added.
Field Marshal Munir further said that when a Muslim places complete trust in Allah, even the dust he throws becomes a missile against the enemy. He also spoke about the Battle of Uhud and referred to various Quranic verses.
On the other hand, President Asif Ali Zardari and the Field Marshal also held a detailed discussion. Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto, the British High Commissioner, and the U.S. Ambassador were also present at the occasion.
