Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by seven wickets in Tri-National series

Rawalpindi: In the tri-nation T20 series, Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets to register their second victory in the series.

In the match played in Rawalpindi, Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat first. Batting first, the Sri Lankan team scored 128 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

For Sri Lanka, Janith Liyanage remained unbeaten on 41 runs. Kusal Perera scored 25, and Kamal Mishra made 22 runs. For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz took three wickets, while Salman Mirza, Faheem Ashraf, and Abrar Ahmed claimed one wicket each.

Pakistan chased down the target of 129 runs in 16 overs with the loss of 3 wickets, thanks to Sahibzada Farhan’s brilliant batting.

Sahibzada Farhan remained unbeaten on 80 runs off 45 balls, hitting 5 sixes and 6 fours in his innings.
