Web Desk: Indian actor Dharmendra Deol, popularly known as Dharmendra, passed away on Monday after suffering from health complications. He was 89.
The Sholay actor is survived by two widows, Prakash Kaur and actor Hema Malini, and his children, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta Deol, Ajita Deol, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Following the news of his passing, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “the passing of Dharmendra Ji marks the end of an era in Indian cinema.”
“Dharmendra Ji was equally admired for his simplicity, humility and warmth. In this sad hour, my thoughts are with his family, friends and innumerable fans.”
