Rawalpindi: Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has categorically denied carrying out any attacks inside Afghanistan.
According to details, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, while briefing senior journalists, said that the court martial of Faiz Hameed is a legal and judicial process. As soon as the process is completed and a decision is reached, we will inform you.
During the press conference, the DG ISPR clearly stated that there should be no speculation regarding the court martial. Social media accounts are running anti-state narratives, and many of these accounts are being operated from abroad.
Speaking about Afghanistan, the spokesperson for the Pakistan Army said that Pakistan has not attacked Afghanistan; our policy is against terrorism, not against the Afghan people.
He said that whenever Pakistan conducts an attack, it does so openly. The Taliban government should make decisions like a state, not like a non-state actor. There should be an immediate ban on non-custom-paid vehicles, as such vehicles have been used in terrorist activities.
The head of the public relations wing further said that we are a state and we respond like a state. Blood and business cannot go together. It is not possible that attacks continue and trade also continues. We are against terrorism, not against the Afghan people. We are on the right side, and the truth will prevail. He added that in our view, there is no such thing as "good" or "bad" Taliban there is no distinction among terrorists.
The spokesperson also said that a political party is running an anti-state campaign on social media. Since November 4, a total of 4,910 counterterrorism operations have been conducted an average of 232 operations per day and 336 terrorism incidents have occurred.
He further stated that the Balochistan government is implementing the National Action Plan, and military representatives are also part of the committees formed to combat terrorism.
The DG ISPR emphasized that the Afghan regime must take verifiable action against terrorists. There will be no negotiations without verifiable action against terrorists.
