Gujranwala: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed the firm commitment to work relentlessly and in unity for the progress and development of the country.
He was addressing the ground breaking ceremony of Mass Transit Transport System in Gujranwala today.
Shehbaz Sharif mentioned that the success of PML-N in recent by elections is the outcome of the efforts and leadership of Punjab government led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
He said we will work tirelessly during the next three years to take the country forward, expressing the confidence that the PML-N will make its mark across the country in the next general elections.
As regards the Mass Transit Transport system in Gujranwala, the Prime Minister said this gift on the part of provincial government will change the fate of entire district.
He noted that this modern transport system will facilitate the public in reaching their destination points in a timely manner.
Recalling the development that took place in Punjab in the era of Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister said that his initiatives across diverse sectors including road infrastructure, health and education will also be written in history in golden words.
He said the most major achievement of Nawaz Sharif was to make Pakistan a nuclear power.
Speaking on the occasion, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said the 31.2 kilometer long Gujranwala metro bus corridor will be completed in twelve months at a cost of sixty three billion rupees.
She said that another metro project will be started in Faisalabad in the next few days.
The Chief Minister also highlighted various development projects launched for farmers, labourers , women and the Youth of the province.
