Tim Cook, please stop telling me that the AirPods Pro 3 are Apple’s most advanced earbuds yet, and that I’m gonna love them. I know they have a built-in heart rate tracker, improved bass performance, and that they include a set of extra small silicone ear tips — totaling a whopping five sizing options in the box. Our reviewer Vee really liked them. I also know that they’re $30 off during the extended shopping holiday period currently happening, selling for $219.99. It’s a nice deal… for some people.
But I also know that Woot is selling the last-gen AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C wireless charging case at a really good price for Cyber Monday. They’re $134.99, the lowest price yet, and some AirPods-needy iPhone users should definitely consider this model instead. Not only will it free up more money for other gifts, but the recipient may love them just as much as the pricier model, because they look nearly identical and sound great, too. Also, they’re the smarter option to buy if you were already considering the $99.99 AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation, which lack silicone ear tips for a tight, noise-isolating sound.
