Earthquake jolts Peshawar, surrounding areas
Swat: An earthquake measuring has jolted Peshawar and its surrounding areas on Saturday afternoon, sending thousands of panicked people onto the streets.
The magnitude of quake was 5.1 at Richter scale, while its depth was recorded as 151 kilometers beneath the earth's surface.
The epicenter of the earthquake was Hindukush mountain range.
The tremors were also felt in Lower Dir and adjoining areas.
The tremors spread panic amongst locals, although no loss of life and property was reported from any area.
